I tried undertale I really tried but I keep getting this homestuck vibe where the characters are actually poorly developed buy randomly thrown deep shit that requires too much effort from viewers to make character development out of a mess when it’s the writers job to do that. And the fan base sees it as amazing and cool and super deep but it’s really not that great
That or I just hate whatever tumblr likes I don’t know
The story is actually very siple, maybe too short for the entire game, but is the story telling and how is involve with the gamplay the interesthing part of the game
because if you split story and game it don’t make a great story or a very full game at all
ignore the fans and try to enjoy the gamplay at least~
